Best Foot Forward- Another Success.

Saturday July 1st saw the fifth staging of Best Foot Forward.

Almost 500 runners and walkers met at Aldersley Leisure Village to go round in circles for the benefit of others.

The result will be to provide £11,800 for the event charities.  In addition an as yet unknown amount is being raised by other charities that used the event as their own fund-raiser.

We expect the final total to be approaching £20,000.

Here are some incredible figures;

Total laps completed were 14,254, beating the 2014 record by almost 1,000 laps.

Total distance covered by 460 entrants just over 3,500 miles.

Average number of laps covered 31.

24 participants completed more than 100 laps and therefore become Best Foot Forward Centurions, and of those 24 extraordinary Best Footers, 4 were Double Centurions having completed over 200 laps-over 50 miles each
