Our club is delighted to be able to support not only a great many good causes locally, but also, in areas of great need internationally.

We have long been associated with the Congo Children’s Trust and are pleased to be able to once again, support the provision of an English teacher- Mr Chadrack Kasunga , at the Kimbilio Primary School in Luowoshi, just outside Lubumbashi, DR Congo.

Following the visit there by a club member some years ago, we continue to support the teaching of English at the school, seen as a huge benefit to future employment in a difficult environment.

We also have supported over the last two years, the new vocational college which is soon to be opened nearby offering skills to local children again, as an aid to securing employment and hopefully, a release from the cyclical world of compound poverty.

Computer equipment recently arrived by shipping container and most recently, funds were made available for the supply of windows for the school.
